Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in cyber security sales, consulting or advisory roles with large enterprise customers.
- 3+ years as a sales or technology lead within a large organization, with demonstrated success coaching and developing senior individual contributors.
- Proven record of exceeding security sales quotas and closing complex, multi-solution deals.
- Experience managing OEM and strategic partner relationships.

- Salaried positions are exempt from overtime pay. At times, this position may be required to work more than 40 hours a week without additional overtime pay.

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $190,000.00 to $210,000.00 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.

What will you be doing?
The Cyber Security Sales Team Lead is responsible for leading a team of Cyber Security Sales Specialists within the Global Cyber Security Sales & Advisory team. This role drives in-territory security sales achievement and delivers specialist sales support to meet World Wide Technology’s (WWT) Global Security sales and profit targets. The role requires close collaboration with Sales, Services, Security Practice and other practice leaders, as well as OEM partners, to align technical and business strategies that drive growth.
Responsibilities:
- Execute the sales vision, strategy and direction for WWT Cyber Security solutions, and translate it into clear goals for the team.
- Own team achievement of security sales, revenue and gross profit targets through pipeline management, forecasting and regular performance reviews.
- Proactively coach and lead a high-impact team of senior sales specialists, including recruiting, onboarding, development and performance management.
- Guide the team in positioning security solutions to our customer base and in developing account-level security strategy with core client teams, including thought leadership and landscape mapping documents.
- Build and maintain executive relationships with C-level executives, Executive Directors, Managing Directors and decision-making managers at targeted clients, and join the team on strategic pursuits and deal closes.
- Team with sales, services and other practice leaders within WWT to create and align technical and business strategies that drive growth.
- Develop and maintain relationships with strategic OEM partners, including joint business planning and account alignment.
- Serve as a thought leader and keep exceptional knowledge of the security landscape, including AI Security, Security Strategy, Cyber Resilience, Segmentation, Cloud Security, Zero Trust, Endpoint Security Architecture, SASE/SSE, Observability, Next Generation Firewall, Identity and Access Management and compliance requirements.
