Cybersecurity Specialist – Industrial Systems
€400–€470 per day | 9-Month Contract | Hybrid Working
Industrial Cybersecurity | Senior Leadership Exposure | High-Impact Role
An exciting opportunity to join a leading global healthcare organisation and play a key role in strengthening cybersecurity across a major manufacturing operation.
Working across IT, Operational Technology (OT) and Industrial Control Systems (ICS), you'll help protect critical manufacturing infrastructure, identify emerging security risks and drive improvements across the site's cybersecurity environment. This is an opportunity to take ownership of meaningful security initiatives while working alongside Engineering, Automation, Operations and Corporate IT.
What makes this role particularly interesting is the level of exposure and influence it offers. Reporting directly to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), you'll have the opportunity to shape cybersecurity priorities, influence risk mitigation strategies and help drive the organisation's wider security maturity. It's an excellent opportunity for someone looking to broaden their technical remit and take their cybersecurity career into a more influential position.
Why You'll Want It
- Real ownership: Drive cybersecurity improvements across critical IT and OT infrastructure, with the opportunity to influence how security is managed across the site.
- Senior leadership exposure: Report directly to the SLT and contribute to important security decisions and investment priorities.
- Broaden your expertise: Develop your experience across industrial cybersecurity, manufacturing systems and regulatory compliance.
What You'll Do
- Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments, threat modelling and vulnerability assessments across IT and OT environments.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Automation teams to implement security controls, strengthen industrial networks and improve system architecture.
- Coordinate incident response, remediation activities and compliance initiatives across the manufacturing environment.
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years' experience in cybersecurity, ideally within manufacturing, healthcare, pharmaceutical, food production or another regulated industry.
- Experience across security risk assessments, vulnerability management, network security or incident response.
- Exposure to OT/ICS environments or industrial control systems, alongside strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
