Cyber Security Specialist

Cyber Security Consultant | Romania | Fully Remote B2B Contract

We’re looking for a Cyber Security Consultant to deliver hands-on implementations for enterprise customers. This is a fully remote B2B contract for someone based in Romania.

You’ll work directly with customer network and security teams to understand their current setup, agree how Prisma Access will be deployed and carry out the configuration yourself. You’ll be involved from the initial technical workshops through to pilot, production cutover and handover.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical workshops to understand how users and branch sites connect today, which applications they need to access and what the rollout needs to accommodate.
• Translate customer requirements into a deployment plan covering configuration, testing, rollout phases and cutover.
• Configure and deploy Prisma Access Mobile Users, Remote Networks and Service Connections, depending on the customer’s requirements.
• Configure GlobalProtect, security policies, IPsec tunnels, routing and DNS as part of the implementation.
• Run pilot deployments and validate user connectivity, private application access and security policies before expanding the rollout.
• Coordinate production cutovers with customer teams, resolve issues that come up during implementation and confirm the agreed acceptance criteria are met.
• Document the final configuration and lead the technical handover to the customer’s operations team.

What we’re looking for

• Hands-on experience personally configuring and deploying Palo Alto Networks Prisma Access in a production enterprise environment.
• Experience using Strata Cloud Manager or Panorama to configure and manage a Prisma Access deployment.
• Strong networking and security fundamentals, including GlobalProtect, IPsec VPNs, BGP, DNS and firewall policy.
• Experience taking a customer deployment through pilot, testing, go-live and handover.
• Confidence working directly with external customers, leading technical discussions and explaining deployment decisions and trade-offs.
• Experience migrating users or sites from a legacy VPN or another remote access platform would be a plus.
