The ACDC is embarking on an ambitious transformation journey to take our capabilities to the next level! We've already laid a solid foundation with a renewed core technology stack, paving the way for an AI-driven Cyber Defense Center. Now, we're excited to introduce a dedicated hunting team focused solely on uncovering what others might miss and safeguarding Allianz from unknown threats. This elite team will establish a global, scalable hunting capability with automation and agentic capabilities at its core.
What You Do
- Harness the power of automation and machine learning models to build scalable systems that can detect anomalies and potential threats within Allianz's global environment. Your will be at the core building the systems as well as guiding them in identifying compromises.
- Craft, implement, and continually refine hypothesis-driven hunting rules to unmask sophisticated cyber attacks. Your expertise will be crucial in staying one step ahead of evolving threats.
- Develop the capability to run continuous compromise assessments across all Allianz assets, focusing on identifying compromised systems or identities.
- Foster strong relationships with other ACDC teams and external parties to share insights and intelligence on emerging threats.
- Stay at the forefront of cybersecurity trends, constantly updating your knowledge of threats, vulnerabilities, and defensive techniques to enhance our hunting methodologies and tools.

What You Bring
- A university degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a related field is essential, with at least 6 years of relevant work experience in threat hunting within cybersecurity operations to the table. Your expertise is what we need to detect what other detections might have missed.
- Demonstrate strong technical prowess with a focus on security (incident response & threat hunting) and automation/agentic capabilities. Possess up-to-date knowledge of cyber threats and vulnerabilities, with the ability to identify, triage, and remediate threats based on thorough analysis of security events, log data, and network traffic.
- Be proficient in multiple programming languages (e.g., Python, Go) for developing and maintaining tools that will be at the heart of our scalable hunting operations.
- Have relevant experience with endpoint protection technologies such as Microsoft Defender and CrowdStrike Falcon, as well as SIEM technology.
- Exhibit strong communication skills to interact effectively with both technical colleagues and non-technical staff, ensuring clear collaboration during critical situations.
- Showcase a high degree of problem-solving skills and innovative thinking, with the ambition to become a recognized technical expert in your domain.
- Be fluent in English, both spoken and written, capable of addressing stakeholders from diverse backgrounds and levels of technical expertise.
- Machine learning knowledge is a strong advantage.
