Green Light have an exciting opportunity for a high calibre, experienced CyberArk Architect to join one of our delivery partners for an exisiting large-scale cybersecurity transformation program. This role will be responsible for defining and delivering the organisation's Privileged Access Management (PAM) strategy, architecture and roadmap, with CyberArk serving as the core PAM platform.


The successful candidate will provide technical leadership across the design, implementation and optimisation of CyberArk solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise security standards, business requirements and industry best practices.


This role can be worked from any capital city with a main office - Canberra, Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney & Adelaide. The role will require you to go into the office in your capital city to get setup but the role will be WFH/remote as the team is located around Australia.


This role does require an active AGSVA NV1 clearance at a minimum. Consultants that do not hold this minimum requirement will not be considered.


Responsibilties

  • Lead the architecture, design and strategic direction of the CyberArk Privileged Access Management (PAM) platform.
  • Develop target-state PAM architectures aligned with security, business and compliance requirements.
  • Define CyberArk deployment models, integration patterns and technical standards across enterprise environments.
  • Produce high-level and detailed solution designs, architecture artefacts and implementation roadmaps.
  • Provide architectural governance and oversight throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Work with business and technology stakeholders to define privileged access requirements and security controls.
  • Design integrations between CyberArk and enterprise technologies including Active Directory, Entra ID, cloud platforms, SIEM solutions, ITSM tools and critical business applications.
  • Advise on privileged account management, session management, application credential management and secrets management strategies.
  • Drive PAM maturity initiatives and establish frameworks for privileged access governance and compliance.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to CyberArk engineers, project teams and operational support teams.
  • Conduct architecture reviews, risk assessments and security design workshops.
  • Ensure solutions align with Zero Trust principles, cybersecurity frameworks and organisational security policies.


Requirements

  • Extensive experience designing and architecting CyberArk PAM solutions within large enterprise environments.
  • Strong knowledge of CyberArk components including EPV, PVWA, CPM, PSM, PTA, Credential Providers and Secrets Management solutions.
  • Proven experience developing enterprise security architectures and privileged access strategies.
  • Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM), Privileged Access Management (PAM) and Zero Trust security principles.
  • Experience designing integrations across Active Directory, Entra ID, LDAP, Windows, Linux, cloud platforms and enterprise applications.
  • Strong knowledge of security governance, risk management and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience producing architecture documentation including HLDs, LLDs, solution designs and architecture decision records.
  • Ability to engage effectively with both technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Strong consulting, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with CyberArk Privilege Cloud and Cloud Entitlements Manager.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, AWS and hybrid cloud security architectures.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, Essential Eight, ISO 27001 and Zero Trust Architecture.
  • Experience presenting solution architecture and strategy to executive leadership and architecture review boards.
