EnDyna is seeking a cybersecurity professional with project-management experience to lead technical delivery and coordinate a multidisciplinary team for anticipated support to the U.S. Senate Office of the Sergeant at Arms. This role combines cybersecurity judgment, organized program execution and clear communication with government stakeholders. Experience supporting Congress or other legislative-branch organizations is strongly preferred.
The successful candidate will translate security needs into practical work plans, guide technical specialists, track risks and deliverables, and help protect sensitive systems while maintaining mission continuity. We are especially interested in candidates who understand the Senate’s operating environment, stakeholder relationships, decision-making processes and service expectations.
Responsibilities
- Lead cybersecurity work planning, task execution and delivery, including schedules, staffing coordination, dependencies, risks, quality reviews and status reporting.
- Serve as a primary coordination point for government stakeholders, technical teams and specialist partners; communicate issues, options and decisions clearly to technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Coordinate work across vulnerability management, security assessments, threat intelligence, security operations, incident response and cybersecurity engineering.
- Guide implementation and improvement of security architecture, risk-management practices and controls, drawing on frameworks such as NIST CSF, RMF and Zero Trust as applicable to the customer’s environment.
- Track findings from assessments and independent penetration testing through prioritization, remediation coordination and verification; preserve clear ownership and evidence of completion.
- Help integrate cybersecurity workflows with enterprise tools, including ServiceNow and security monitoring, endpoint detection and response, and incident-management platforms.
- Develop and review work plans, technical reports, procedures, briefings, performance measures and executive-level updates.
- Coordinate requirements across system owners and service providers, protecting sensitive information and minimizing disruption to legislative operations.
- Coordinate compliance reviews, supply-chain risk activities, training and knowledge transfer with the appropriate specialists; maintain clear ownership across the delivery team.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum Secret security clearance, maintained throughout performance; certain tasks may require a higher clearance. Final requirements are subject to the solicitation and customer approval.
- Demonstrated experience leading cybersecurity projects or technical workstreams, including planning, stakeholder coordination, delivery oversight and issue resolution.
- Substantive cybersecurity experience sufficient to evaluate technical findings, guide specialists and communicate risk and recommended action.
- Working knowledge of vulnerability management, security operations, incident response, security architecture and risk-management practices.
- Experience producing clear technical documentation, management reports and presentations for government or similarly sensitive organizations.
- Ability to coordinate multiple priorities and technical contributors while maintaining accountability for schedules, quality and follow-through.
- Strong written and verbal communication, sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive operational information.
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience supporting the U.S. Senate, U.S. House of Representatives or another legislative-branch organization.
- Knowledge of Congressional IT operations, governance, stakeholder coordination, decision processes and the practical requirements of supporting legislative functions.
- Experience leading teams in an environment with sensitive systems, demanding service expectations and multiple organizational stakeholders.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow cybersecurity workflows and integration with security monitoring, EDR, SIEM/SOAR or incident-management tools.
- Experience coordinating independent penetration-testing services, threat hunting, digital forensics or supply-chain security work.
- Relevant project-management or cybersecurity certifications, such as PMP, CISSP or CISM.
