D365 Business Central Developer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer to join our team on a permanent basis.

The role will involve working across multiple Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions and projects, supporting implementations, customisations, integrations, upgrades, and ongoing development activities for different customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customise, and maintain solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Design and develop extensions using AL
• Analyse functional and technical requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions
• Develop and maintain integrations between Business Central and third-party applications
• Work with APIs, web services, and other integration technologies
• Develop reports, interfaces, extensions, and custom functionality
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues
• Participate in Business Central implementation, upgrade, and migration projects
• Support migrations from Dynamics NAV to Business Central where required
• Collaborate with Functional Consultants, Solution Architects, Project Managers, and customers
• Ensure development activities follow Microsoft standards and best practices
• Prepare technical documentation and contribute to internal knowledge sharing

Requirements

• Proven professional experience as a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer
• Strong knowledge of AL development
• Experience developing Business Central extensions
• Good understanding of Business Central architecture and development tools
• Experience with APIs, web services, and integrations
• Experience with Dynamics NAV and/or Business Central implementations and upgrades
• Good understanding of SQL and relational database concepts
• Experience with Visual Studio Code
• Familiarity with Git and/or Azure DevOps
• Ability to analyse requirements and independently develop appropriate technical solutions
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Good English and Italian communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV
• Experience with Business Central localisation and country-specific requirements
• Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, Power Automate, or Power BI
• Familiarity with Azure services and Microsoft technologies
• Experience working with multiple Business Central customers or solutions
• Previous experience in a consulting environment
• Knowledge of Italian accounting and business processes
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central certifications
