We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Online Dance Teacher to join our virtual platform and inspire students to explore the world of dance. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various dance forms, excellent teaching skills tailored for online learning, and the ability to create engaging and effective virtual classes for students of all ages and skill levels. Key Responsibilities Online Teaching: Conduct live virtual dance classes for students across various age groups and experience levels. Teach diverse dance styles, such as contemporary, classical, jazz, hip-hop, ballet, or other relevant forms, in an engaging online format. Design structured lesson plans that incorporate effective teaching techniques suitable for a virtual environment. Choreography and Virtual Performances: Choreograph routines for virtual performances, competitions, or showcases. Guide students in creating performance-ready routines through online instruction. Student Engagement: Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment in virtual classes. Use interactive tools and methods to engage students and maintain their interest in online sessions. Provide personalized feedback and support to help students improve their skills. Event Participation: Organize and participate in online dance showcases, workshops, and webinars. Represent the institution in virtual community events and online platforms. Administrative Duties: Track attendance, participation, and progress of students through online tools. Collaborate with the institution’s team to schedule classes and organize virtual events. Ensure that all technical requirements for online sessions (e.g., camera setup, internet connectivity, platform usage) are met. Requirements Educational Background: Degree or certification in dance or performing arts from a recognized institution. Additional training in online teaching methodologies is a plus. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, with at least 1 year in an online teaching environment. Experience choreographing and managing virtual performances is preferred. Dance Skills: Proficiency in one or more dance styles (e.g., classical, contemporary, jazz, hip-hop, or others). Strong ability to demonstrate techniques effectively in a virtual setting. Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with online teaching platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams). Knowledge of tools like video editing software or music applications to enhance online lessons. Ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues during live classes. Soft Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills for an online audience. Patience, adaptability, and enthusiasm for engaging students virtually. Creativity in designing interactive and fun online classes. Physical Fitness: Ability to demonstrate dance techniques with clarity over video. Stamina to conduct multiple online sessions per day.
