About the Data & AI team

We are building a small, hands-on team that makes Sharon AI faster and right the first time. Our job is to turn data and AI into outcomes the business can feel: bringing world-class AI capacity to customers faster, running the business with precision at scale, and getting things right early, when it counts most.

We do this by building:

• One data foundation that our teams and delivery partners feed into.

• AI agents behind every role, so people make better decisions faster and spend their time on the

work that matters most.

• Automation of repetitive work as the business moves from build to run.

The Role

You build the paved roads that let every engineer ship quickly, safely and repeatably. You own our cloud foundation, infrastructure as code and delivery pipelines, so the team can focus on building data products and agents. You work closely with the Data & AI Engineering Lead and are hands-on every day.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design, build and run our AWS foundation: accounts, networking, environments and core services, on an “everything as a service” model.

• Manage all infrastructure as code, so environments are consistent, reviewable and easy to recreate.

• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines for data pipelines, applications and agents, including automated testing and safe releases.

• Build in security from the start: identity and access, secrets management, encryption and audit logging, aligned with listed-company expectations.

• Set up monitoring, logging and alerting so the team can see how everything is running.

• Keep cloud costs visible and well managed as the platform grows.

• Create self-service templates and tooling that make the right way the easy way.

• Partner with IT on shared identity and access standards.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years in cloud, platform, DevOps or site reliability engineering.

• Deep hands-on experience with AWS.

• Strong infrastructure as code skills (e.g. Terraform or CloudFormation).

• Experience building CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions) and container platforms.

• A security-first mindset, with experience in identity, access and secrets management.

• Scripting skills in Python or similar, and curiosity about how AI can automate platform work.

Nice to have:

• Experience supporting data platforms (e.g. Databricks) or AI workloads.
