Job Overview/Purpose

We are looking for an experienced and engaging Data & AI Presales Architect to help customers reimagine how data and artificial intelligence can transform their organisation. Operating at the forefront of Microsoft’s Data & AI ecosystem, you will identify high-value opportunities, bring emerging technology to life and translate customer ambitions into practical, commercially credible solutions.

You will lead discovery and solution shaping across Microsoft Fabric, modern data platforms, analytics, artificial intelligence, generative AI, intelligent applications and agent-based solutions. You will combine strong technical credibility with an evangelist mindset, using compelling demonstrations, prototypes and customer stories to help business and technology leaders understand what is possible and how it can deliver measurable value.

Working with sales, consulting, delivery and Microsoft teams, you will guide opportunities from initial discovery through proposal and handover, ensuring solutions are differentiated, achievable and aligned to customer outcomes.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Partner with customers to understand their goals, challenges and data landscape, helping shape Data & AI strategies that deliver real business value.

• Design modern data and analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Power BI and Azure, creating scalable, secure and governed platforms.

• Lead the discovery and development of AI opportunities, including Generative AI, Microsoft Copilot, AI agents and intelligent applications.

• Turn business requirements into practical solution designs, roadmaps and investment cases, balancing innovation with measurable outcomes.

• Bring ideas to life through engaging demonstrations, prototypes and customer stories that showcase the power of Microsoft Data & AI technologies.

• Collaborate closely with sales, consulting, engineering, delivery and Microsoft teams to create compelling proposals, solution designs and Statements of Work.

• Act as a trusted Data & AI advocate, staying ahead of emerging technologies and inspiring customers through thought leadership, workshops and industry events.

Skills, experience and qualifications

• Strong experience delivering Data & AI solutions, spanning data architecture, engineering, analytics, BI or consulting environments.

• Proven ability to work directly with customers, translating business challenges into compelling solutions, roadmaps and outcomes.

• Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Azure Data Services and the Microsoft AI ecosystem, including Copilot and Azure AI technologies.

• Passion for AI innovation, with the ability to identify high-value use cases and bring them to life through demonstrations, prototypes and storytelling.

• Strong understanding of modern data platforms, including data integration, governance, security, quality and responsible AI practices.

• Commercially aware and confident in shaping proposals, estimates and customer engagements while balancing value, feasibility and risk.

• Collaborative, customer-focused communicator who can lead workshops, inspire stakeholders and build credibility with both technical and business audiences.
