Hours: Full-time; 40 hours/week, M-F Benefits: 40 hours per week with benefits Medical (80% company paid) Dental/Vision Company paid Life/AD&D/LTD, EAP, Wellness 401(k) and 401(k) Matching Vacation/Sick Leave 11 Paid Holidays, plus bonus winter holiday week of company PTO Position Summary The Data Analyst supports Encompass by collecting, coordinating, analyzing, and reporting organizational data to inform decision-making, compliance, and planning across the agency. This role blends hands-on data coordination, advanced reporting and analysis, and contract and grant data support. The Data Analyst serves staff across the entire organization and reports to the Director of Operations. Scope The Data Analyst is responsible for maintaining data systems and reporting environments; ensuring data accuracy and integrity; performing analysis using Power BI and Excel; and coordinating data related to contracts, grants, and annual reporting requirements. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Data Analysis & Reporting Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI, Excel, and Power Query Editor. Analyze datasets to identify trends, insights, risks, and data quality issues. Translate findings into clear summaries for non-technical users. Data Coordination & Integrity Collect, validate, and maintain data across organizational systems. Perform reconciliations and data quality checks. Maintain documentation and standardized data procedures. Contracts, Grants & Annual Reporting Collect and compile data for contracts and grants. Manage contract tracking and reporting deadlines. Gather, verify, and report annual report data. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS Required Bachelor’s Degree Demonstrated experience with: Power BI Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data cleaning) Power Query Editor Strong critical ‑ thinking and analytical skills: High level of attention to detail and data accuracy. Ability to communicate data findings clearly in writing and verbally. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines. Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams. Ability to handle confidential information appropriately. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Certifications in Data Analytics, Power BI, Excel, or related tools. Experience with databases or basic SQL concepts. Experience supporting contracts, grants, compliance, or administrative reporting. Familiarity with nonprofit, healthcare, education, or human services environments. Knowledge of data privacy requirements – specifically HIPAA. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Typical office work with extended computer and screen use.
