IGS is currently recruiting a remote Data Analyst (AI/ML) to support our work. Please note the role is contingent upon award.
Assignment of Work and Travel:
This is a remote access assignment. The Candidate will work remotely daily and will remotely access IGS systems and therein use approved IGS provided communications systems. Travel is not required; however, the candidate may be required to attend onsite client meetings as requested. Ideal candidates will be local to the Washington D.C. Metro area in the event onsite client meetings are required.
The Data Analyst will support the Digital Accessibility Program by leveraging data analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and process improvement methodologies to provide actionable insights that enhance accessibility services and program maturity. This role will analyze operational, accessibility, service request, and testing data to identify trends, forecast future demand, improve decision-making, and recommend process improvements across digital accessibility initiatives.
Responsibilities and Duties (Included but not limited to):
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data from accessibility testing activities, web crawler results, helpdesk operations, service requests, user feedback, and program performance metrics.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards, KPI reports, and executive-level analytics to support program monitoring and stakeholder decision-making.
- Identify key metrics required to measure digital accessibility program performance and recommend strategies for capturing additional data where gaps exist.
- Design and implement AI and Machine Learning models to identify patterns, predict future service demand, and forecast accessibility trends.
- Develop predictive analytics models that identify recurring accessibility barriers, testing deficiencies, and operational risks.
- Utilize Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques to analyze customer feedback, tickets, and service requests to automatically categorize issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Perform trend analysis and statistical modeling to support strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with Program Managers, Accessibility Specialists, and Government stakeholders to translate business requirements into analytical solutions.
- Develop data governance processes, analytics methodologies, and reporting frameworks that support accessibility program maturation.
- Conduct process assessments and recommend efficiency improvements using industry-standard process improvement frameworks.
- Produce Data Analytics Plans, Process Improvement Plans, monthly reports, dashboards, and executive briefings.

- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience performing data analysis, business intelligence, or data science activities.
- Experience developing data visualizations and dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
- Experience working with large datasets, data integration, and data quality management.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and data extraction methodologies.
- Experience with Python, R, or other analytics/programming languages.
- Experience applying statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and forecasting techniques.
- Ability to communicate technical findings to executive and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust
Preferred Qualifications and Core Competencies:
- Experience supporting accessibility, Section 508, WCAG, or digital compliance initiatives.
- Experience developing AI/ML solutions in Azure AI, Azure Machine Learning, AWS SageMaker, or similar platforms.
- Experience utilizing NLP techniques for text analytics, sentiment analysis, classification, and automation.
- Experience with SharePoint, Microsoft Power Platform, and Microsoft 365 analytics solutions.
- Experience implementing predictive analytics and AI-driven decision support systems.
