Role overview SOFTSWISS is expanding its Analytics team and is looking for a Data Analyst to support the analysis of partner and business performance. The role is focused on handling a variety of analytical requests across different areas, including product, retention, marketing, acquisition, and operational performance of partner projects. Responsibilities Analyse key business and product metrics across partner projects, including conversion, retention, revenue, margin, acquisition, player activity, cohorts, and other performance indicators. Investigate changes and anomalies in performance and identify their potential root causes. Analyse whether performance changes are driven by acquisition, retention, new or existing cohorts, margin, player behaviour, or other factors. Handle ad-hoc analytical requests from the Analytics team, operational managers, and other stakeholders. Work with existing Tableau data sources and reports to find and analyse relevant information. Build simple Tableau reports and dashboards for recurring analytical requests. Turn one-off analyses into reusable reporting where it can reduce repetitive manual requests. Work with SQL and ClickHouse when additional data extraction or validation is required. Combine different metrics and data points to form clear, business-oriented conclusions. Present findings and analytical hypotheses to the Head of Analytics and relevant stakeholders. Requirements 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Product Analyst, Business Analyst, Operations Analyst, or in a similar analytical role. Practical experience in the iGaming / gambling industry and understanding of its core business metrics. Strong analytical thinking and the ability to identify relationships between different metrics and business drivers. Good understanding of product and business analytics concepts, including funnels, cohorts, retention, conversion, acquisition, revenue, and lifecycle metrics. Hands-on experience with BI tools, preferably Tableau . Ability to independently investigate a business problem, identify relevant data, test hypotheses, and provide clear conclusions. Working knowledge of SQL and the ability to read, adapt, and write analytical queries when needed. Ability to manage multiple smaller ad-hoc requests and switch efficiently between different analytical topics. Ability to communicate analytical findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
