If so, we're looking for a Data Analytics and Reporting Manager to join our team on our journey to success!
What you’ll do:
Responsible for developing and governing all external and internal reports on behalf of CAFC and the Bank
Design, develop, and maintain standardized reports, dashboards, and KPIs, preferably using Power BI
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across all reporting outputs of the Compliance and Anti-Financial Crime division on a group level
Own the end-to-end analytical and reporting framework for the AFC Prevention Lab, covering operational, management, regulatory, and executive reporting
Ensure compliance with data governance, audit, and regulatory requirements
Design and maintain scalable data models and reusable datasets for reporting and advanced analytics
Evaluate, analyze, and communicate systems requirements on a continuing basis, and maintain systems processes, including the delivery of monthly status reports to all appropriate parties
Perform data analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making
Define data requirements, source-to-target mappings, develop and optimize SQL queries, Power BI semantic models, measures, dashboards, and analytical products that enable drill-down, trend, cohort, segmentation, and root-cause analysis
Analyse and follow-up on fraud and AML systems to identify trends, behavioural patterns, typologies, emerging risks, control gaps, operational issues, and unusual changes in volumes or outcomes
Perform cross-system reconciliation and issue analysis across source systems, fraud and AML platform, payment and onboarding journeys, case-management tools, and reporting layers
Investigate data anomalies, breaks, missing or delayed feeds, inconsistent classifications, and reporting discrepancies; coordinate root-cause analysis, remediation, and follow-up actions
Create early-warning indicators and analytical monitoring to highlight material deviations, concentration risks, recurring issues, and potential control deterioration
Establish and maintain KPI and KRI catalogues, data dictionaries, reporting standards, dashboard governance, version control, and clear ownership for critical data elements
Automate recurring reporting and data-quality controls where appropriate, reducing manual effort while improving timeliness, reproducibility, and auditability
Present analytical findings as clear business insights, risk narratives where necessary
What you need to succeed:
Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving
Previous experience in business analysis and regulatory reporting in a financial or regulated environment
Experience with data visualization and working with large, complex datasets
High proficiency in technical writing
Good understanding of data architecture, ETL/ELT concepts, APIs and file-based feeds, relational databases, data warehouses, and cloud data platforms
3-5 years of experience in data governance, data quality, and reporting standards, BI, or analytics roles
Advanced Excel skills and high proficiency with SQL and database management
Expertise in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms
Experience performing self-QA on data, including reconciliation and validation checks
Excellent presentation, storytelling, and stakeholder communication skills
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Experience working with data analysis tools and risk management systems in banks & fintech
Fluency in English
Strong hands-on experience in analytical data modelling, including dimensional modelling, star schemas, fact and dimension design, semantic models, and data marts
Advanced SQL capability, including complex joins, window functions, query optimisation, reconciliation logic, and analysis of high-volume transactional data
Advanced Power BI capability, including data modelling, DAX, Power Query, row-level security, performance optimisation, and dashboard lifecycle management
What will be considered as advantage:
Practical experience analysing fraud, AML, transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, KYC/KYB, payment, onboarding, or case-management data
Ability to convert fraud and AML system outputs into trend, pattern, typology, issue, control-effectiveness, and root-cause analysis
Experience defining KPIs, KRIs, metric logic, data dictionaries, data lineage, source-to-target mappings, and reporting controls
Experience with data-quality frameworks, anomaly detection, data reconciliation, issue management, and remediation tracking
Knowledge of statistical analysis, segmentation, cohort and time-series analysis, basic predictive or machine-learning concepts, and Python or another analytical programming language is an advantage
Ability to work with sensitive and restricted data in line with information-security, privacy, audit, and regulatory requirements
Strong ability to challenge assumptions, explain analytical limitations, and translate complex findings into concise, decision-ready recommendations
