For our partner, an international and fast-growing organization, we are looking for an experienced Group Reporting & FP&A Manager to join its finance function in Sofia. The role will act as a vital connection point between Accounting, Group Reporting, and Financial Planning & Analysis, ensuring that management has access to reliable, consistent, and meaningful financial information.

The successful candidate will oversee the Group's reporting and closing activities, contribute to the development of reporting standards and processes, and work closely with finance teams across multiple countries.

Primary Responsibilities of the Role:

• Coordinate the Group's monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with IFRS.
• Manage the preparation and delivery of Group-level financial and management reports within agreed deadlines.
• Develop specialized knowledge in selected IFRS topics and provide practical guidance to finance colleagues across the organization.
• Act as a key user and subject-matter expert for the Group's consolidation, planning, and reporting platforms.
• Establish and maintain effective reporting standards, data governance practices, and quality-control procedures.
• Coordinate the consolidation of budgets, forecasts, and strategic business plans across the Group.
• Prepare KPI reporting, performance dashboards, and variance analyses for senior management.
• Translate financial data into clear business insights, highlighting trends, risks, opportunities, and areas requiring attention.

• Serve as the main connection between local Accounting teams, Group Financial Reporting, and FP&A to ensure consistency in financial information and business narratives.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, methodologies, systems, and the quality of management information.
• Support country finance teams through training, guidance, and the sharing of effective reporting practices.
• Contribute to finance transformation projects, including the use of automation, data analytics, and AI-based solutions where relevant;

Evaluation criteria:

• Timely and accurate completion of Group reporting and closing cycles.
• Consistent application of IFRS and Group reporting policies across all entities.
• High-quality, reliable, and decision-useful management information.
• Improved visibility of financial performance, trends, and deviations from plan.
• Effective collaboration between Group and local finance teams.
• Successful implementation and continuous improvement of reporting processes and systems;

Desired skills and experience:

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• At least 7–10 years of relevant professional experience in Group Reporting, FP&A, Controlling, financial planning, or a similar international finance role.
• Practical and in-depth knowledge of IFRS.
• Strong understanding of statutory reporting, management reporting, consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to interpret complex financial information and communicate key conclusions clearly to senior stakeholders and non-finance audiences.
• Experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Hands-on experience with consolidation and planning solutions, such as OneStream, Anaplan, SAP Analytics Cloud, IBM TM1, Hyperion, or similar systems.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong proficiency in Power BI or another business intelligence platform.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and manage competing priorities.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder-management skills in a multicultural environment.
• Previous experience in a Big Four firm would be considered an advantage.
• Interest in the aviation industry would be an advantage.
• Experience applying artificial intelligence tools to business or finance processes would be considered a plus;
