Do you want to help shape data-driven Finance solutions and contribute to our AI journey?
At Ramboll, we believe in creating sustainable change through the power of people, knowledge, and innovation. We are looking for a Data & Analytics Engineer to join our Global Data & Analytics department at our head office in Denmark and help us build modern data solutions that support Finance with reliable insights and better decision-making.
In this role, you will work with Microsoft Fabric to develop data solutions that enable reporting, analytics, and visualization for Finance. You will help transform business needs into scalable and user-friendly solutions and contribute to strengthening the way data is used across the organisation.
At the same time, we are on an exciting AI journey and want to increasingly include AI in our solutions where it creates real business value. This means you will be part of a team that is not only building strong data foundations but also looking ahead to how analytics and AI can work together to create smarter solutions for the future.
Your new role
As our new Data & Analytics Engineer, you will play an important role in designing and developing data solutions that support Finance processes and reporting needs. You will work closely with colleagues across functions to understand requirements, structure data, and create visualizations that make complex information easier to use and act on.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Building and supporting data solutions in Microsoft Fabric for Finance-related use cases
- Working with data extraction, transformation, modelling, and structuring
- Developing clear and effective dashboards, reports, and visualizations
- Collaborating with Finance stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions
- Helping ensure high data quality, consistency, and usability
- Contributing to the continuous development of our data and analytics capabilities
- Exploring how AI can be included in solutions and workflows to create greater value
About you
You have a strong interest in data, analytics, and technology, and you are motivated by creating solutions that make a real difference for the business. You are curious, structured, and eager to learn, and you enjoy working in the space between business needs and technical possibilities.
We imagine that you have:
- A relevant degree in data, IT, business analytics, finance, engineering, artificial intelligence or a related field
- Solid knowledge of working with data and analytics
- Experience with, or a strong interest in, data visualization
- An interest in modern data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric
- Curiosity about AI and how it can strengthen analytics solutions
- A structured and analytical approach to problem-solving
- Good communication and collaboration skills
It is an advantage if you also have:
- Knowledge of Finance processes, reporting, or controlling
- Experience with Power BI, SQL, or other Microsoft data tools
- An understanding of how to translate business requirements into practical data solutions
What we can offer you
At Ramboll, you will join a collaborative and knowledge-driven environment where you can develop your skills while contributing to meaningful work. You will have the opportunity to work with modern technologies, engage with stakeholders across the business, and help shape solutions that support important Finance processes.
We offer:
- A role in a professional and supportive Data & Analytics team
- The opportunity to work with modern data technologies, including Microsoft Fabric
- A chance to contribute to our AI journey and the future development of our solutions
- Opportunities for learning, development, and career growth
- A collaborative workplace at Ramboll’s head office in Denmark
