Overview

The Children's Integrated Services (CIS) unit in the Child Development Division (CDD) is actively recruiting for a Data and Reporting Coordinator. We are recruiting a curious and capable individual who can both dive into the team's data, describe connections across data sets, and establish links between CIS's data and the data/priorities of CDD.

This position will lead much of CIS data collection and analysis, as well Vermont's IDEA Part C System of Payments. Primary responsibilities associated with this position include:
• Processing Prior Authorizations for CIS-Early Intervention providers
• Reviewing and approving invoices
• Overseeing and ensuring CIS's data entry and data integrity
• Supporting the writing and submission of Vermont's federal IDEA Part C Annual Performance Report
• Providing technical assistance to providers related to CIS data submission
• Developing reports from CIS data
• Contributing to the continuous quality improvement of CIS
• Engaging with partners across the state to support CIS data collection and analysis and CIS service delivery, and to troubleshoot CIS billing issues

Required experience includes working with programmatic and financial data, utilizing data systems, managing spreadsheets, and effectively troubleshooting data inquiries. A strong attention to detail is necessary. Familiarity with medical coding, Medicaid billing, and child development is preferred, but not required. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, learn new skills and systems quickly, and value contributing positively to Vermont's early childhood system.

This is a hybrid position that will work in part out of the Waterbury State Office Complex (WSOC) in Waterbury, Vermont. A successful candidate will need to have a reliable way to report to WSOC weekly, and for additional team and division meetings as needed.
