Apply today and help us shape the future of work—together Job Title: Data Architect – Snowflake (Medical Devices / Healthcare) Mode: Contract Duration: 6 Months (Extendable) Work Timings: 3pm – 11.30pm IST Mode of work: Remote-India Overview We are looking for an experienced Data Architect with deep expertise in Snowflake to design and manage scalable, secure, and compliant data platforms in a medical device environment. This role will support data-driven initiatives across clinical, regulatory, manufacturing, and commercial domains while ensuring adherence to healthcare regulations and data standards. Key Responsibilities Design and implement enterprise data architecture leveraging Snowflake for structured and unstructured data Develop scalable data models, data lakes, and data warehouses to support analytics, AI/ML, and reporting Define and enforce data governance, security, and compliance frameworks (HIPAA, FDA, GDPR) Architect data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using modern tools (e.g., Snowpipe, dbt, Informatica, Azure Data Factory) Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, and Business stakeholders) Ensure data integrity, lineage, and traceability aligned with medical device standards (e.g., ISO 13485, GxP) Optimize Snowflake performance, cost management, and workload management Support cloud data architecture (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and hybrid environments Enable advanced analytics, including AI/ML and real-world evidence (RWE) use cases Establish best practices for data lifecycle management (ingestion, storage, archival, and retention) Required Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field 8+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related roles Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake architecture and optimization Expertise in data modeling (dimensional, normalized, and data vault) Experience with SQL, Python, and data pipeline orchestration tools Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Experience in regulated industries (medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare) Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of medical device data standards and regulatory frameworks (FDA 21 CFR Part 11, ISO 13485, IEC 62304) Experience with healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR, DICOM) Exposure to clinical, imaging, or diagnostic data systems Experience with data cataloging and governance tools (Collibra, Alation, Informatica) Snowflake certifications (SnowPro Core, SnowPro Advanced) Experience with streaming data platforms (Kafka, Event Hubs) Key Skills Strong architectural thinking and system design skills Data governance and compliance mindset Ability to translate business needs into scalable data solutions Cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management Performance tuning and cost optimization in Snowflake Problem-solving with a focus on data quality and reliability 📩 Interested candidates may share their updated resumes to: [email protected] New Era Technology, LLC., and its subsidiaries (“New Era” “we”, “us”, or “our”) in its operating regions worldwide are committed to respecting your privacy and recognize the need for appropriate protection and management of any Personal Data that you may provide us.
