Job Description

Data Architect
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Work Arrangement: Onsite/Hybrid, client facing
Local candidates only

Position Overview
We are seeking a Data Architect to support a data and AI engagement with our client. The ideal candidate combines deep data architecture expertise with the ability to understand business needs, influence stakeholders, and help grow the engagement. This role supports one of our client's business units, with the potential to expand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and own data architecture and solution designs on modern data platforms.
  • Define data models, standards, governance, and security approaches.
  • Lead architecture discussions with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Guide data engineers on patterns and best practices.
  • Make data ready for AI use cases.
  • Identify opportunities where data and AI can address additional business needs.
  • Contribute to the growth of the overall engagement.


Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Strong background in data architecture and data engineering.
  • Experience designing modern data platforms and data models.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfortable working in a client facing environment.
  • Must be local to Indianapolis, IN and able to work onsite.

Preferred Experience

  • Databricks
  • NVIDIA or related AI and data ecosystem
  • AI and modern data technologies
  • Pharmaceutical or life sciences experience
  • Prior experience in a large enterprise client environment
  • Experience identifying additional technology or business opportunities

Ideal Candidate
A technically strong architect who understands the business context, presents well to leaders, and helps identify ways to expand the engagement.
