ERP Suites is seeking a Data Center Infrastructure Architect to design and guide the implementation of secure, resilient, and scalable enterprise infrastructure supporting more than 50 customers.
In this senior technical role, you will lead network architecture and develop integrated solutions across compute, storage, virtualization, and security. You will collaborate with operations, security, application, and vendor teams to strengthen infrastructure reliability, performance, and long-term capacity.
Location:
Our home office is based in Cincinnati, OH. However, we are open to hiring someone who is fully remote regardless of location. Although the position will be remote, there might be some occasional travel to ERP Suites facilities or customer sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design enterprise data center infrastructure solutions across compute, storage, networking, virtualization, and facilities dependencies.
  • Establish network architecture standards for routing, switching, segmentation, high availability, and connectivity across data centers, cloud environments, and remote sites.
  • Partner with infrastructure operations, security, application teams, and vendors to define technical requirements and implementation plans.
  • Evaluate infrastructure risks, capacity, redundancy, and performance requirements for business-critical systems.
  • Design failover, disaster recovery, and resiliency strategies that support operational continuity.
  • Develop architecture diagrams, technical standards, implementation plans, migration strategies, operational runbooks, and infrastructure lifecycle roadmaps.
  • Provide technical recommendations that help stakeholders make informed infrastructure investment and design decisions.
  • Guide implementation teams to ensure solutions align with architecture standards and operational requirements.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least eight years of infrastructure experience, including significant responsibility in data center architecture or senior network engineering.
  • Expert-level knowledge of enterprise and data center networking, including:
    • Routing, switching, VLANs, VRFs, BGP, OSPF, and QoS.
    • Subnetting, IP addressing, and network segmentation.
    • Firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, and SD-WAN.
    • DNS, DHCP, and WAN/data center connectivity.
  • Demonstrated ability to design highly available, resilient, secure, and scalable network architectures for enterprise data centers, cloud connectivity, remote sites, and business-critical platforms.
  • Strong skills in network troubleshooting, packet and traffic flow analysis, failover design, redundancy, capacity planning, and performance optimization.
  • Experience designing integrated infrastructure solutions across compute, storage, virtualization, security, monitoring, disaster recovery, and facilities dependencies.
  • Ability to produce clear technical documentation and communicate architecture recommendations to both technical teams and executive stakeholders.
  • Experience working with vendors, managed service providers, security teams, application teams, and infrastructure operations.
  • Experience with vendor management and architecture governance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • CCIE Data Center or CCNP Data Center certification.
Working Conditions:
This is a remote position with standard business-hours coverage. Availability is required for planned maintenance, project cutovers, escalations, and critical incident support as needed. Occasional travel to colocation data centers may be required.
