Data Center Network Engineer (Cisco ACI)

Location: Japan (Hybrid)

Salary: Up to JPY 9M (maximum JPY 9.5M)

Visa: Must already be based in Japan or hold a valid Japanese work visa

Role Overview

We are looking for a Data Center Network Engineer with strong Cisco ACI experience to

support implementation, deployment, troubleshooting, and operational activities within a large-scale Data Center environment.

This role will work closely with engineering teams supporting Data Center infrastructure

and network modernization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Cisco ACI implementation and operational support

• Deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of ACI fabrics

• Support Cisco Nexus-based Data Center environments

• Participate in network migration and change activities

• Contribute to HLD/LLD, implementation plans, and change management documentation

• Work with cross-functional engineering teams to resolve complex infrastructureissues

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco ACI

• Experience with Cisco Nexus (2K/3K/5K/7K/9K)

• Strong understanding of VXLAN, BGP EVPN, Data Center Switching, and L2/L3

networking

• Experience supporting, configuring, and troubleshooting Data Center network

environments

• Strong English communication skills

• Network automation experience (Python, Ansible, APIs)

Preferred Certifications

• CCNP Enterprise

• CCNP Data Center

• CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure

• CCIE Data Center

Additional Information

• Strong ACI implementation experience is more important than certification level
