PLEASE NOTE: This is a hybrid role, requiring 2 days per week in the office.

We are looking for a Data Developer to design, develop, and maintain data warehouse solutions, with a focus on SQL, PL/SQL, and ETL development using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) or equivalent technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT application owners to understand, document, and design data warehouse processes.
• Contribute to the definition, development, and implementation of data warehouse solutions.
• Create and maintain source-to-target mapping logic for integrating data from multiple source systems.
• Design, develop, test, optimize, and deploy ODI packages and Oracle stored procedures/packages to perform ETL functions.
• Plan and coordinate ETL and database rollouts with project teams, developers, and database engineers.
• Provide ongoing support, maintenance, troubleshooting, and incident resolution for ETL processes.
• Design and establish technical frameworks for the data warehouse.
• Perform data profiling, cataloging, and mapping to support the design and construction of data flows.
• Optimize complex data transformations and database performance.

Tools / Software Knowledge & Competencies:

• Expert-level SQL and PL/SQL skills.
• Experience with ETL processes and tools, particularly Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) or equivalent ETL technologies.
• Experience working with large-scale databases and analysing large datasets.
• Strong knowledge of data warehouse concepts, database design, and data modelling.
• Experience in source system analysis, data profiling, cataloging, and source-to-target mapping.
• Proficiency in advanced performance tuning techniques for complex data transformations.
• Experience with data visualization and exploration tools.
• Exposure to different technology stacks, configurations, and processing environments.
• Python skills are an advantage.
• PySpark knowledge is an advantage.
• Experience in the banking sector is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology is a plus.

Education & Soft Skills:

• Proficiency in English.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into actionable data solutions.
• Clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver quality results within deadlines.
• Ability to learn quickly and understand new technologies and applications.
