Data Engineer (102-06SENG-01)

We embed Principal-Vetted engineers directly into high-performing North American tech teams — acting as agile, hands-on experts driving critical data and AI initiatives. We are looking for a Data Engineer to join a Canadian client's team on a short-term contract engagement with the possibility of extension. You'll work closely with data and analytics stakeholders to build and maintain data pipelines, model data in Microsoft Fabric, and support the delivery of high-quality Power BI reports. What you'll be doing Designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines using Python and SQL Developing and managing data models within Microsoft Fabric Data Warehouse Creating, publishing, and optimizing Power BI dashboards and reports for business stakeholders Collaborating with analysts and business teams to understand reporting requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions Ensuring data quality, consistency, and performance across ingestion and transformation layers What we're looking for Strong hands-on experience with Python and SQL for data engineering tasks Proven experience working with Microsoft Fabric Data Warehouse Strong Power BI experience Ability to work independently, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and deliver within a defined timeline English proficiency at a B2+ level (daily communication with the client team) Tech stack Python, SQL, Microsoft Fabric Data Warehouse, Power BI Engagement details Fully remote Contract position (independent contractor) 3-month engagement with the possibility of extension Open to candidates in Latin America
