This position is for someone located in São Paulo, Brazil who is able to come into the office in-person at least once weekly. In this position you will have the opportunity to work with some of our biggest projects within the retail industry. About You: You are a humble, passionate, and experienced engineer that is excited to write code but is also comfortable working with sales, accounts, and other engineers. You have a positive outlook and are interested in working in a highly collaborative work environment. How You Will Make an Impact: Develop and maintain Transformation pipelines in SQL Server Stored Procedures and dbt Build and enhance Data Models and OLAP Cubes Develop ETL and maintain pipelines and enhance current pipelines using Python and Airflow Over time become extensively knowledgeable for Data Quality and Data monitoring of data pipelines, helping to build new tools and frameworks to support scalability Work together with the team to improve and adjust the database to ensure it continues to perform as the business scales Work closely with the business team to onboard new clients into the data platform Skills and Qualifications : (even if you do not meet these skills 100%, we still welcome you to apply) Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or related field. 2+ year of experience as a Data Engineer Demonstrated proficiency with Python and SQL Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for ETL processes and database management Some experience with DBT would be a bonus Demonstrated ability to investigate complex issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement viable solutions in a timely manner Excitement to learn and deep dive into new technologies Above bar communication skills, both written and oral, to interface in a collaborative team environment About Us: BM, established in 2017, is a SaaS solution for retailers and brands to reduce returns, improve sustainability and supercharge their supply chain from the ground up.
