Job Description
This is a remote position.
We are a leading software development company in Puerto Rico, specializing in the customization, development, and integration of top-notch software solutions. We are currently looking for a talented Data Engineer to join our team remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data systems and pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
- Implement data integration, transformation, and validation processes.
- Optimize and maintain data warehousing solutions, including data warehouses and data lakes.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes using tools such as Azure Data Factory.
- Ensure data quality and integrity across multiple data sources.
- Use Agile or SCRUM methodologies for project management.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
Proven experience in relevant projects.
Academic degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science or related fields.
Proficiency in the following technologies:
- Power BI
- Azure Data Tools
- Fabric
- Data factory
- Data Lake
- Synapse
- SQL Server
- Data Warehouse
- Storage procedures
- AGILE Environments or SCRUM
Soft skills
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
