🔎 We are looking for an Amazing: Data Engineer

Seniority: Mid-Senior

Type of position: Hybrid

💻 The amazing you, will have:

• 4+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering or similar roles;
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL;
• Solid experience designing and developing ETL/ELT data pipelines;
• Experience working with large volumes of data and complex data processing environments;
• Strong knowledge of data modelling, data transformation and data integration;
• Experience with Apache Spark / PySpark;
• Experience with orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow or similar;
• Experience working with at least one major cloud platform: Azure, AWS or GCP;
• Knowledge of Data Lakes, Data Warehouses and modern data architectures;
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases;
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD and Agile environments;
• Ability to troubleshoot, optimise and improve the performance of data pipelines;
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams;
• English level B2 or higher;

📍 Currently residing in Portugal and legally authorized to work in Portugal.

✨ To turn yourself from amazing to unique, you’ll have (plus):

• Experience with Databricks;
• Knowledge of Kafka or other streaming technologies;
• Experience with Snowflake;
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes;
• Experience implementing real-time or near real-time data pipelines;
• Knowledge of Data Governance and Data Quality practices;
• Previous experience working on international projects or complex enterprise environments.
