What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
• Familiarity with AWS as well as ETL processes
• Proficiency in managing Iceberg table lifecycle processes, specifically compaction and retention, to ensure storage efficiency and query performance
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues across data pipelines, maintaining reliability within Pipeline Orchestration workflows
• Strong grasp of Data Processing principles, with demonstrated ability to contribute to performance tuning of data workloads at scale
• Familiarity with Release Management practices and the ability to produce SDLC deliverables in line with consulting engagement standards
• Collaborative approach to enabling domain teams in adopting consistent ELT and Pipeline Orchestration standards across a Lakehouse environment.
• Fluency in English (C1 Level)

This position is following a remote regime, based in Portugal. Candidates should be based in Portugal and have a Portuguese or other EU citizenship, or a valid Portuguese work permit to be considered.
