Data Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!

The Role

• Develop and enhance modern data structures to ensure reliable data delivery for reporting, analytics, and business steering.

• Design and build scalable data pipelines, integrating diverse data sources from operational systems and external platforms.

• Model and prepare business data for various analysis and reporting applications.

• Evolve existing ETL and ELT processes and contribute to the development of the central data warehouse.

• Automate reporting and planning processes, and develop/maintain reports, dashboards, and standard evaluations.

• Collaborate closely with controlling, BI specialists, data analysts, and internal IT.

What You'll Need

• Degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration with an IT focus, or equivalent qualification.

• Professional experience in Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, or Data Warehousing.

• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases and large datasets.

• Practical experience with ETL/ELT processes, data integration, and data warehouse structures.

• Familiarity with BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, MicroStrategy) and data modeling.

• Understanding of business processes and KPIs, with a structured, solution-oriented approach.
