Data Engineer (Contract, Remote)

Job Description This is a remote position. Data Engineer Role Overview Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines that power analytics, reporting, and downstream applications. Responsibilities Build and maintain ETL and ELT pipelines Design and optimize data models in cloud data warehouses Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance Integrate data from APIs, databases, and third-party tools Collaborate with analytics, BI, and product teams Requirements Strong SQL and data modeling skills Experience with Python or similar languages Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP Familiarity with tools like Airflow, dbt, Spark, or similar Experience with modern data warehouses Data Analyst Role Overview Analyze data to generate insights that inform business decisions, performance tracking, and strategy. Responsibilities Analyze large datasets to identify trends and opportunities Build dashboards and reports for stakeholders Translate business questions into data analysis Validate data accuracy and consistency Partner with business and technical teams Requirements Advanced SQL skills Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to communicate insights clearly to non-technical audiences Experience working with structured datasets Business Intelligence Engineer Role Overview Own the analytics layer by designing data models, dashboards, and metrics that support executive and operational decision-making. Responsibilities Build and maintain BI data models and semantic layers Develop dashboards and standardized reports Define and maintain business metrics and KPIs Partner closely with data engineering and business teams Ensure data consistency across reporting tools Requirements Strong SQL and data modeling experience Hands-on experience with BI platforms Understanding of data warehousing concepts Experience with dbt or similar transformation tools preferred Strong stakeholder communication skills Cloud Engineer Role Overview Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure that supports scalable, secure, and reliable systems. Responsibilities Design and maintain cloud infrastructure Automate infrastructure using IaC tools Monitor performance, security, and availability Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes Collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams Requirements Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP Strong knowledge of networking, security, and cloud services Experience with Terraform, ARM, or CloudFormation Familiarity with containers and orchestration tools Strong troubleshooting and optimization skills
