Why this role matters

At ATOSS, we help organisations around the world plan their people fairly and efficiently, and data sits at the core of our products. We hold ourselves to the same standard internally. We are building one trusted data foundation for sales, marketing, HR and finance, and you will help build it. You will join our team of data engineers and work side by side with our analysts. They bring the business question, and together we make sure the right data is there: correct, documented and on time. Your work decides whether leaders discuss what to do, or whose number is right.

What you will do

• Bring together data from relational databases, flat files, Excel, big data systems, analytical databases and APIs in Snowflake.

• Design, build and maintain scalable transformation pipelines with dbt on Snowflake.

• Turn our KPI definitions into tested, documented dbt models, so every metric has one definition.

• Automate and orchestrate data workflows for reliable delivery to BI and reporting.

• Monitor, troubleshoot and tune dbt and Snowflake for reliability, performance and cost.

• Work closely with analysts to understand business needs and specify data requirements.

What you bring

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with dbt and Snowflake in data engineering and/or data analysis.

• Strong knowledge of Sales, Marketing, HR and ERP data, including the KPIs and reporting that matter.

• Extensive experience with modern data engineering: pipelines, orchestration and data modelling.

• Experience integrating data from APIs.

• Strong SQL and experience with Git and CI/CD for dbt projects.

• Business-fluent English.

Nice to have

• German language skills.

• Airflow, Dagster, dbt Cloud, Fivetran, Airbyte or similar tools.

• Python for integration and automation.

• Experience with a semantic or metrics layer, or with the Salesforce data model.

• dbt or Snowflake certification.
