Data Engineer (ETL/ SSIS/ SQL)

We are looking for an experienced SQL / SSIS Data Engineer to join a team supporting solutions within the Automotive domain. The role combines hands-on SQL and ETL development with production support responsibilities, ensuring the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of business-critical data platforms.

The successful candidate will work closely with end users and technical teams, providing L2/L3 support, troubleshooting complex data issues, and implementing enhancements across SQL Server and SSIS-based solutions.

Project information:

• Industry: Automotive
• Office location: Wrocław, near City Center
• Work model: hybrid – 2 days per week in the office, 3 days remote
• Budget: 140 - 160 PLN net/ h - b2b
• Only candidates with citizenship in the European Union and residence in Poland
• Start date: ASAP

Project scope:

• Provide technical support for Product users, analyze reported issues, and drive them to resolution
• Perform L2/L3 troubleshooting, including incident triage, root-cause analysis, issue resolution, validation, and documentation
• Monitor SQL Server and Power BI dashboards to identify anomalies, performance issues, and data quality concerns
• Take proactive actions to prevent recurring incidents and improve system reliability
• Develop, maintain, and optimize SSIS packages and ETL processes
• SQL/ SSIS Development: Implement fixes and improvements focused on system performance, maintainability, and operational efficiency
• Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to understand issues and communicate technical solutions in a clear and effective manner
• Contribute to knowledge sharing, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives

Competence demands:

• Strong hands-on experience as ETL/ SSIS Data Engineer
• Strong SQL & SQL optimization skills
• Strong hands-on experience with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services)
• Proven experience in ETL development, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Experience supporting production data environments and resolving complex technical issues
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root-cause analysis and preventive improvements
• Very good English skills
