Data Engineer Reporting & Analytics

We are currently looking for a Data Engineer – Reporting & Analytics to join a global technology team supporting critical Finance and Corporate Functions reporting capabilities.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working across both established reporting environments and modern cloud-based analytics platforms, helping drive the evolution of enterprise reporting and data solutions.

In this role, you will:

• Deliver new reporting and analytics solutions supporting business-critical reporting requirements.
• Partner with business stakeholders and analysts to translate reporting needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Maintain, enhance, and optimize reporting datasets, SQL queries, data models, and reporting performance.
• Support the migration and modernization of reporting solutions from legacy BI platforms to Tableau and other modern technologies.
• Build and improve data pipelines, analytical datasets, and reporting structures that support management reporting, KPIs, and self-service analytics.
• Contribute to reporting governance, data quality, lineage, controls, and consistency across reporting outputs.
• Help shape the future reporting architecture as the organization continues its data and analytics transformation journey.

Key technologies and experience include:

• Tableau development, dashboards, and reporting solutions
• Oracle databases and advanced SQL development
• Data Warehousing and analytical data models
• ETL/ELT pipeline development and optimization
• Reporting and analytics platforms, including exposure to Cognos or similar BI tools
• Data quality, lineage, governance, and reporting controls
• Exposure to modern cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or similar technologies

We're looking for professionals with:

• Strong experience in Data Engineering, Reporting, Analytics, or Business Intelligence environments
• Excellent SQL and database development skills, ideally within Oracle ecosystems
• Experience building and optimizing reporting datasets and data pipelines
• Hands-on expertise with Tableau and modern reporting solutions
• Experience supporting reporting modernization or migration initiatives
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• The ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Fluent English communication skills

Experience within Financial Services, Financial Reporting, Management Information, or Corporate Functions environments would be highly beneficial.

This role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale reporting transformation initiatives, combining day-to-day delivery with the implementation of future-state analytics and cloud data platforms.
