What You’ll Do
The Data Engineer will support the design, development, testing, and maintenance of Snowflake and Azure-based data platforms, including data lakes, SQL databases, and data warehouse solutions. This role contributes to new development initiatives and ongoing operational support while helping deliver reliable, scalable, and high-performing data solutions.
- Develop, optimize, and maintain Snowflake databases, data models, and cloud-based data pipelines.
- Design, develop, and support ETL/ELT processes using Snowflake and related data integration technologies.
- Build and maintain secure, reliable, and scalable data solutions that support reporting, analytics, and operational needs.
- Automate data ingestion, validation, transformation, and monitoring processes to improve efficiency and data quality.
- Support Snowflake platform performance, security, governance, and operational initiatives.
- Prepare and validate data assets to support reporting, analytics, and self-service data consumption.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement efforts across data platforms and solutions.
- Monitor production data processes, diagnose issues, and resolve failures, performance concerns, and data inconsistencies.
- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to support data quality initiatives and ensure reliable, accurate data.
What You’ll Bring to CHA
Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge is qualifying.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3+ years of experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise data platforms with a strong focus on Snowflake.
- Experience building and maintaining data integration and ETL/ELT solutions using Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, DBT, SSIS, or similar technologies.
- Experience delivering cloud-based data solutions and working within modern data warehousing or lakehouse environments.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with Snowflake data platform development and optimization.
- Experience with source control and CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or Git.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

This pay range shown is a guideline. Min: $82,000 – $166,000 Compensation is based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
