Data Engineer X 2

On behalf of one of our key partners, RED has now a new opportunity for a Data Engineer x2 with Data Vault experience to start by 1st of January 2027 on a B2B freelance 6 months contract, Remote, English and German writing and speaking.

Project Details:

• Data Engineer Experience
• Data Vault 2.0 experience
• Snowflake experience
• Strong experience in Data Warehousing
• Start 1st January 2027
• Contract until end of June 2027
• 100% Remote
• B2B Contract
• Fluent in English and German written and spoken, (FLUENT GERMAN IS A MUST TO HAVE)

Main Tool set:

• Snowflake
• dbt (Core)
• Airflow
• Azure DevOps plus eventually Data bricks once the new platform is ready.
• Additional Skills
• Strong experience in data warehousing and different types of data architecture and modelling.
• Excellent SQL skills required
• Experience of Data Vault 2.0 would be very advantageous
• Experience with Snowflake and dbt strongly preferred, Data bricks very advantageous
• Comfortable using Claude Code and GitHub Copilot to improve productivity / speed up the coding process.
• Experience with Airflow and python a plus.
