WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING IN THE ROLE:
As a Data Engineering Specialist, you may be responsible for:
- Designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes
- Developing and optimizing data integration solutions across multiple systems and platforms
- Building and managing cloud-based data platforms and data lakes
- Ensuring data quality, governance, security, and performance standards are met
- Supporting analytics, reporting, AI/ML, and business intelligence initiatives
- Collaborating with architects, analysts, developers, and business stakeholders to deliver data solutions
- Automating data workflows and monitoring processes for reliability and scalability
- Contributing to data modernization and transformation initiatives
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Integration, or related fields
- Strong experience with SQL and relational databases
- Hands-on experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and integrating complex data sources
- Proven experience with Microsoft Fabric, including Data Factory, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Real-Time Analytics, and data orchestration capabilities
- Experience designing and implementing cloud-based data platforms using Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
- Knowledge of data warehousing, data lakes, medallion architecture, and modern data architecture patterns
- Experience with data governance, metadata management, and data quality practices
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and stakeholder communication skills
Nice to Have
- Experience working in healthcare organizations, healthcare technology, health information systems, or digital health environments
- Knowledge of healthcare data standards such as HL7, FHIR, DICOM, or EMR/EHR platforms
- Experience supporting healthcare analytics, interoperability, population health, clinical reporting, or healthcare data modernization initiatives
- Certifications in Azure, AWS, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, or other cloud data technologies
