Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement data governance standards and best practices.
• Monitor and improve data quality through profiling, validation, and reconciliation.
• Build and maintain data quality rules and governance documentation.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure reliable and trusted data.
• Manage metadata, business glossary, and data catalog initiatives.
• Support governance processes, incident management, and continuous data quality improvement.

Requirements :

• 2+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Quality, or Data Engineering.
• Experience with AWS (preferred), GCP, or Azure.
• Strong SQL skills (CTE, Window Functions, CTAS).
• Basic to intermediate Python for data profiling and automation.
• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, CloudSQL, Amazon RDS, BigQuery, or Redshift.
• Experience working on at least 1–2 data governance or data quality projects.

Nice to have :

• Experience with Collibra, Alation, AWS Glue Data Catalog, or Atlan.
• Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or Amazon QuickSight.
• Experience with Pandas, Great Expectations, or YData Profiling.
• GitHub knowledge.
• Understanding of DAMA DMBOK, metadata management, business glossary, RBAC/ABAC, and governance policies.
