Metadata & Data Lineage Management
- Document and maintain data lineage from source systems through integration processes into the enterprise data warehouse, incorporating integration specifications and mappings as the system of record.
- Maintain metadata repositories, data dictionaries, integration inventories, and change impact history for BIS-managed assets.
- Document business rules, transformation logic, and data dependencies.
- Identify and tag sensitive data elements (e.g., personal and health information) in metadata to support privacy and access controls.
- Support data retention and administration practices related to BIS-managed data assets.
- Keep documentation and inventories current through updates following system, integration, or automation changes and periodic accuracy reviews.
Your Education and Experience
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Information Management, or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of progressively responsible experience in data integration, business intelligence, business analysis, data warehousing, data analysis, or related information technology functions.

- Certification in Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft Data Platform, project management or business analysis is an asset.
Your Abilities
- Ability to independently analyze complex issues, identify significant risks, and assess cross-functional impacts to support informed decision-making.
- Analyze process and data flow requirements to develop recommendations and support the implementation of approved solutions.
- Strong investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to trace data lineage, evaluate business rules, determine root causes, and recommend effective solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to provide subject matter expertise in data flows, system integrations, metadata, and data dependencies.
- Exceptional collaboration and communication skills with the ability to translate complex information into actionable recommendations.
