About the Role:
As a Data Integration Specialist at ETFbook, you will help us deliver reliable, well-structured data flows that power our analytics and products. Your primary focus will building and operating integrations in Alteryx and designing transformation workflows for large data sets. This role sits at the intersection of data operations and engineering: you’ll ensure data arrives on time, in the right shape, and with the right quality signals for downstream use.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain Alteryx workflows to ingest, transform, validate, and publish datasets into the data landing zone
• Implement data quality checks (completeness, schema validation, duplicates, basic anomaly checks) and provide clear logging/error handling
• Operate and monitor scheduled workflows; troubleshoot failures and perform root-cause analysis
• Optimize workflow performance and reliability (e.g., efficient joins, incremental loads, reusable components)
• Collaborate with data engineering and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and translate them into robust pipelines
• Document workflows, assumptions, and data lineage in a way that supports maintainability and auditability
• Contribute to standard patterns, templates, and continuous improvement of integration practices

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience with Alteryx (preferred) or a similar ETL/data integration tool (e.g., Informatica, Dataiku, SSIS, Talend)
• Solid working knowledge of SQL
• Basic Python skills for scripting, automation, or data validation tasks
• Strong Excel skills (data preparation, formulas, pivot tables; Power Query is a plus)
• Experience integrating data from cloud storage sources (Azure Blob Storage or similar) into curated/landing zones
• Good troubleshooting skills and an operational mindset (monitoring, incident handling, clear communication)
• Ability to write clear documentation and work collaboratively in a fast-moving environment
• Advantage: familiarity with data governance concepts (naming conventions, lineage, access control) and version control (Git)
