Job Title: Data Migration Specialist Position Overview · The person(s) recruited would be used and groomed to take up Data Migration development and execution activities of upcoming Digital Suite & BSS Switch deliveries. Essential Job Functions / KRAs To participate in all phases of DM activities such as Discussion, Design, Development, Testing, Implementation, Execution, Debugging, Documentation To take Ownership of Data Migration until delivery and sign-off To ensure thoroughness and accuracy of solutions Follow the quality guidelines as defined in company quality processes and procedures Provide Technical assistance to Solution Integration team to analyze issues arising during various testing phases Displays professional demeanor and clarity when addressing all interactions, both internally and externally Should be willing to travel abroad for project implementations Required Skill Set Essential Skills: In the below skill sets (bold ones), any 2 skills as mandatory Should have experience between 4 to 7 years with Maximum years of experience in ETL/ Oracle PL/SQL development or Java or Python programming Sound knowledge in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL/Java/Python Programming shell scripts , Troubleshooting and Performance Tuning, with clear understanding of coding concepts Knowledge in any one databases like MySQL, MongoDB or Cassandra Knowledge of any scripting language like Shell, PERL, Python, etc Should have good written and verbal communications skills Ability to work collaboratively within a team of other engineers worldwide to meet aggressive goals and high quality standards Preferred Skills: Experience in End-to-end data migration Exposure to any of the Migration Tools is preferable Telecom domain knowledge Experience Level / Years of Experience 4 to 7 years Minimum Qualification / Education BE / BTech / MCA / Msc (For those with relevant work experience: Graduate with appropriate certification is sufficient) Benefits and Perks: Competitive salary and bonus structure.
