As part of our platform strategy, Databricks and Snowflake are key components of the modern data landscape. While adoption is growing rapidly, establishing a governed, enterprise-ready platform foundation is critical to ensure stability, scalability and compliance to meet internal customer expectations.

As a Senior Data Platform Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping and operating these platforms. You will work closely with platform architects, data engineers, governance experts, and business stakeholders to create a future-proof platform offering.

  • Enable business teams to adopt Databricks and Snowflake effectively through self-service and automation

  • Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code and automation tooling to ensure scalable platform operations
  • Collaborate with architecture, security, and data governance teams to ensure compliance and enterprise readiness
  • Contribute to documentation, training materials, and community formats to drive user enablement and platform adoption
  • Align platform evolution with business needs and emerging technologies (e.g. advanced analytics, AI/ML workloads)

Your Profile – authentic & open-minded

  • Degree in computer science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

  • Hands-on experience with automation and DevOps practices: Infrastructure-as-code (e.g. Terraform), CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitLab), APIs and scripting (e.g. Python)
  • Strong knowledge of security, compliance, and governance in data platforms
  • Experience with Databricks network architecture (e.g. private endpoints, NCC, VNet injection, network security)
  • Excellent communication skills and strong service orientation
