Data Product & Service Owner

Drive Data, Analytics & Master Data across Hultafors Group

Data is one of the most important strategic assets at Hultafors Group. To accelerate our data-driven transformation, we are looking for a Data Product & Service Owner who will drive the development, governance, and adoption of our data products, analytics capabilities, and master data processes across the Group.

This is a key role at the intersection of business and technology, helping ensure that trusted data becomes a foundation for better decisions, operational excellence, and future AI capabilities.

About the role

As a Data Product & Service Owner, you will own and manage data products and services throughout their lifecycle. You will work closely with business stakeholders, Data Engineers, architects, analysts, and leadership teams to ensure our data platform, reporting capabilities, and master data processes continuously evolve to meet business needs.

The role combines strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, prioritization, and governance, ensuring that data investments deliver measurable business value.

What you will do

You will:

• Own and manage the roadmap for Data & Analytics products and services.

• Lead the prioritization of data initiatives and manage the product backlog.

• Capture and translate business requirements into actionable development plans.

• Drive adoption and value realization of reporting, analytics, and data services.

• Collaborate closely with Data Engineers, architects, and business stakeholders.

• Establish and maintain governance processes that ensure trusted, high-quality data.

• Lead and coordinate Master Data Management initiatives across the Group.

• Drive improvements in data quality, ownership, stewardship, and data standards.

• Support strategic initiatives within analytics, automation, and AI.

• Monitor KPIs, business value realization, and user adoption.

• Support communication, training, and change management activities.

Who you are

You are passionate about turning data into business value and enjoy working across organizational boundaries. You can balance strategic thinking with operational execution and are comfortable engaging with both business leaders and technical specialists.

You likely have:

• A university degree in Business, Information Systems, Data & Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience as a Product Owner, Service Owner, Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role.

• Experience working with Data & Analytics, reporting, business intelligence, or digital transformation initiatives.

• Strong stakeholder management and prioritization skills.

• Experience working in agile environments.

• Strong communication and facilitation skills.

• Fluent English communication skills.

Meritorious qualifications

Experience within one or more of the following areas is considered a strong advantage:

• Master Data Management (MDM)

• Data Governance

• Data Quality Management

• Microsoft Azure Data Platform

• Power BI

• Data Warehousing and Data Lake architectures

• AI and Advanced Analytics initiatives

• Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, or Commercial analytics

• ERP and business process integration

  Location

  The position is preferably based in Gothenburg, Sweden, but other Hultafors Group locations may be considered.
