Role Description The Data Science Account Manager is a full-time hybrid role based in Cairo, Egypt, with flexibility for partial work from home. This role manages a portfolio of customers, focusing on cybersecurity and data-driven solutions, and acts as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts. Day-to-day responsibilities include understanding client business challenges, translating them into data science and analytics use cases, coordinating solution design with technical teams, and presenting proposals and demonstrations. The Data Science Account Manager tracks account performance, analyzes usage and outcomes, prepares reports and forecasts, and identifies upsell and cross-sell opportunities. The role also involves collaborating with internal stakeholders, supporting marketing and enablement activities, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term retention.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in data science and analytics, including experience with data modeling, data visualization, and interpreting complex datasets to generate business insights.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and technology solutions, with the ability to understand and communicate how data and analytics support security use cases.
  • Account management and customer success skills, including relationship building, stakeholder management, and proactive issue resolution.
  • Business development and sales skills, such as opportunity qualification, proposal development, pipeline management, and negotiation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences in clear, structured language.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment, manage time effectively, and collaborate with cross-functional teams across sales, technical, and marketing functions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; relevant certifications in data analytics or cybersecurity are an advantage.
  • Previous experience in technology, cybersecurity, or data-driven roles, preferably within a distributor, vendor, or consulting environment, is highly beneficial.
