We're looking for a commercially-minded technology leader to build the data products and platforms that will drive this next stage of growth 🎯 The Role As Head of Data Products & Technology, you will own the vision, strategy, and execution of Newsflare's AI data product roadmap. Leading both our technology and data functions, you'll work at the intersection of product, engineering, AI, operations, and commercial teams to transform one of the world's largest collections of user-generated video into scalable, commercially valuable data products. This is a highly strategic role that combines product development, data strategy, and technology leadership. 🛠 Key Responsibilities Data Product Strategy & Development Define and own Newsflare's AI data product strategy and roadmap. Identify opportunities to transform Newsflare's video library into differentiated AI training products. Develop scalable metadata, annotation, taxonomy, and dataset solutions aligned with customer needs. Drive product-market fit through customer engagement, market validation, and continuous product improvement. Technology & Product Leadership Lead Newsflare's technology and data functions, ensuring resources are aligned to strategic priorities. Partner with engineering teams to deliver scalable and reliable data products. Shape technology investment, architecture, automation, and delivery capabilities to support future growth. Own product prioritisation, roadmap planning, and delivery execution Customer & Market Engagement Act as the primary product-facing representative to AI customers. Conduct customer discovery sessions to understand training data requirements and emerging market opportunities. Translate customer challenges into scalable product solutions. Monitor developments across AI, machine learning, computer vision, robotics, and multimodal AI and update the wider business. 🎯 What Success Looks Like Within your first 12 months, you will have: Implemented a clear AI data product vision and roadmap. Launched new metadata and dataset products aligned with customer demand. Improved the quality, discoverability, and commercial value of Newsflare's data assets. Built scalable workflows for dataset creation, enrichment, and delivery. 🏆 What We're Looking For Essential Experience Proven experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, Data Products, Technology Leadership, or a related field. A track record of delivering data-driven products from concept through launch and growth. Experience working closely with engineering and technical teams. Strong stakeholder management and commercial decision-making skills. Experience defining product strategy, managing roadmaps, and balancing competing priorities. Ability to translate customer requirements into scalable product solutions. Highly Desirable Experience with data licensing, training datasets, annotation platforms, or data marketplaces.
