Data Scientist

• Data Scientist opportunity.
• 100% remote
• Focused on building production ML models (forecasting, classification, XGBoost/LightGBM) and GenAI solutions (RAG, agents, LLM pipelines) on Azure/Databricks.

Must-Have Requirements

Core ML

• 4+ years of strong SQL and Python experience, including complex queries, performance tuning, and data processing.
• 2+ years of experience with PySpark or similar technologies.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying forecasting and classification models (e.g., demand forecasting, lead scoring, propensity). Coursework alone does not qualify.
• Production experience with XGBoost and/or LightGBM.
• Experience using SHAP to explain model predictions and troubleshoot models for non-technical stakeholders.

GenAI / Agentic AI

• 6+ months of daily, hands-on agentic coding with Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor.
• Proven experience building GenAI products using RAG, vector search, and/or agents with tool use.
• Experience running LLM APIs at scale through batch or asynchronous jobs involving thousands of calls, such as data labeling or metadata extraction.

Cloud & Data Platform

• Experience with Azure and/or Databricks (both preferred). Strong GCP/Vertex AI or AWS/SageMaker experience is also acceptable.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with recommendation engines or personalization.
• Experience building web applications using coding agents.
• Experience developing APIs with FastAPI, Docker, and end-to-end deployment.
• Familiarity with React and/or Next.js.
