  • Experience defining data governance standards, metadata management, and data quality frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of modern cloud data platforms and data integration technologies.
  • Ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working within highly regulated, complex, or large-scale organisations.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience supporting or enabling Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
  • Knowledge of MLOps, feature stores, real-time analytics, or automated data pipelines.
  • Experience with data mesh, domain-driven design, or modern data architecture patterns.
  • Familiarity with data cataloguing, lineage, and observability tools.
  • Previous experience working on large-scale digital transformation programmes.

The successful candidate will establish scalable, well-governed data architectures that enable trusted decision-making, advanced analytics, and AI-driven innovation. They will provide strategic leadership across data initiatives, ensuring data is effectively modelled, integrated, and managed while supporting complex business and technology programmes. Success will be measured through the delivery of resilient data solutions, improved data quality and accessibility, and the creation of a strong foundation for future digital transformation initiatives.
