Data Stewardship/Data Analytics Manager - Pharmaceutical exp - Contract role

Role Description The Data Stewardship/Data Analytics Manager will oversee the management, integrity, and governance of data assets supporting pharmaceutical and healthcare initiatives. This contract role is fully remote and involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to define data standards, ensure data quality, and implement data stewardship processes aligned with regulatory and compliance requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing data analytics projects, developing data models, performing advanced data analysis, and creating dashboards and reports to inform business decisions. The role will also focus on harmonizing data across systems, working closely with stakeholders to understand data needs, and translating complex data findings into actionable insights for operations and leadership. The manager will contribute to continuous improvement of data practices, documentation, and best-in-class analytics capabilities within the organization.

Qualifications

• Strong Analytical Skills and hands-on experience with Analytics and Data Analytics in pharmaceutical or healthcare environments.
• Proficiency in Statistics and quantitative analysis for interpreting complex datasets and supporting evidence-based decision-making.
• Experience with Data Visualization tools and techniques to design clear, accurate, and impactful dashboards and reports.
• Knowledge of data governance, data stewardship frameworks, and data quality management within regulated industries.
• Background in pharmaceutical, life sciences, or healthcare data, including familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work effectively in remote, cross-functional teams, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Health Informatics, or a related field.
• Experience with SQL, relational databases, and modern analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar) is highly beneficial.
