Job Description Responsibilities Database and Infrastructure Operations: Manage and support enterprise database platforms (including PostgreSQL and Db2) on Linux/Red Hat environments, ensuring high availability, optimal performance, capacity planning, and security compliance through proactive monitoring, tuning, and incident resolution. Application Support, Release, and Service Management: Provide Level 2–3 application support, including incident, problem, and change management, while supporting deployment and release activities in accordance with ITIL practices to ensure stable, secure, and reliable production environments. Stakeholder Collaboration and Continuous Improvement: Partner closely with application teams and business stakeholders to deliver high‑quality services, support business continuity and disaster recovery capabilities, and drive continuous improvement and innovation across infrastructure and operations. Initial Onboarding Period: Work closely with the Technical leads and associates to help support BAU and KTLO (Keeping the Lights On) operations, support and implement Projects as well as work on Security related initiatives. Post Onboarding Period: Effectively perform the function and work independently and lead the team, as well as be involved in the design, engineering, and architecture of the Infrastructure. Help work on Service Improvements and Innovation, including introduction of his/her own initiatives. Qualifications we seek in you! Minimum Qualifications / Skills Database Administration experience particularly Postgre, Db2 database, etc. Experienced in SQL scripting in Linux, Application support ,etc. Experience with Linux/Red Hat Operating Systems – preferrable Database Availability, Capacity, and Performance Management. This involves using Infrastructure Monitoring using tools (preferrable - Foglight, Splunk, etc.) Application level 2 to level 3 support, and deployment / release management Stakeholder Management Experience, partnering with business stakeholders to deliver high quality service to our customers Establish and ensures partnership with Application teams to ensure high quality product is developed and released into production ITIL Experience; Service Level Management, Incident Handling and Resolution, Change Management, Service Transition Security, Compliance and Risk Management of the Infrastructure and the team’s operations – can implement or have experience on database security their working on. Support and Enable Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Capability of the Infrastructure (Server, Storage, and Virtualization) Continuous Improvement and Innovation of Infrastructure and Operations Preferred Qualifications/ Skills Bachelor’s Degree/ College graduate or equivalent in Computer Science/Information Technology or related fields Mental Agility: Can process information quickly, recognize connections and adopt multiple perspectives.
