Dhaka Technologies Limited Company (DTLC) is hiring a Database Administrator (Vertica/Sybase) on behalf of its client, a leading financial services organization, for a hybrid position in Jersey City, NJ (3 days onsite, 2 days remote).

Job Description

• Database Administrator (Vertica Sybase) - 5-7 Years Experience
• Experienced Database Administrator with 5-7 years of expertise in Vertica, Sybase ASE, and Sybase IQ database environments.
• Responsible for database installation, configuration, performance tuning, backup and recovery, security administration, high availability, replication, and production support.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, Linux/Unix, database monitoring, troubleshooting, and disaster recovery processes.
• Experience supporting mission-critical applications, optimizing database performance, managing upgrades and migrations, and collaborating with application and infrastructure teams to ensure database reliability, scalability, and compliance.
• Exposure to automation, scripting, and modernization initiatives is preferred.
• SQL, Foglight, RDBMS knowledge
• Scripting, SQL and knowledge of ServiceNow. AI
