We provide end-to end project services and have delivered over 200 successful Murex projects across all major asset-classes and sectors including investment banking, asset management, corporate treasury and insurance. Client is looking to partner with DXC Luxoft to support their Murex Sybase → Oracle migration

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the database conversion workstream end-to-end — not just execution, but planning, issue resolution, and delivery outcomes.
  
  - DBA activities will include, but not limited to:
  - Environment load(s)
  - Load optimizations
  - Environment maintenance
  - Environment upgrade(s)
  - Enabling new capacity for applications

SKILLS

Must have

• Proven delivery of similar Sybase->Oracle conversion projects at major Financial Institutions
• Strong expertise in RDBMS concepts including schema design, data migration, and performance tuning
• Hands-on experience with Sybase to Oracle (or similar) conversion projects
• Basic knwledge in SQL, Unix/Linux, and scripting (shell, perl, awk)
• Strong understanding of Murex data model, configuration structures, and database architecture
• Experience executing large-scale migration cycles including mock runs, reconciliation, and cutover
• Strong experience in defining and executing data reconciliation and validation frameworks

Nice to have

Murex Experience is a plus;
