This is a HYBRID Role - 2 days a week onsite. The candidates Must be located in Toronto / GTA.

Required Skills:

IBM Db2 & Oracle Administration:

• Installation
• Configuration
• Backup and Recovery
• Performance tuning
• Security
• Patching
• Upgrades
• Monitoring
• troubleshooting
• RMAN backup and recovery
• Data Guard or equivalent

Other technical requirements:

• Scripting & Automation - Python, PowerShell, Bash, and/or Ansible.
• CI/CD tooling
• Linux and Windows administration, TCP/IP networking, DNS, load balancing, certificates, storage, and distributed-system concepts.
• Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift and database deployment patterns using Helm charts and Operators.
• Knowledge of other databases Preferred: PostgreSQL and/or Microsoft SQL Server.
